Doesn't say who is in the band beyond Devon and Duane but none of these guys look like Berry Oakley so it seems he is not with them anymore for whatever reason.

An update on what Berry is up to.  Tom Constanten will be 80 by the time these gigs happen - good to see him still getting out and playing.

@matt05 tough choice for me as the two concerts closest to me in Mass and NH are 1.5+ hour drive a way. May do the show in Keene, NH as even though it a bit longer drive traffic would be better than having to go through Boston to get to Beverly.

@bill_graham I happened to drive from Boston airport to Beverly last Spring and that drive sucked. I'd rather drive around NYC for a week than around Boston for a day.

@slothrop8 I found out Berry was/is the bass player with R J. Howson on guitar and Mike Koch on keys and others as R. J. and Berry's Hoedown.

They did a late fall, early winter run.

They saluted Dickey on his 80th birthday.

The article said zero about Allman Betts Band so obiviously is no longer associated with them.

I thought his bass and singing was perfect for that band.

I had not heard of R. J. Howson. Here he is with Garrett Dawson on drums who has been in Dickey's band.

Thrilled that they are back out doing a proper tour --- the new bassist I think is a from one of Devon's old bands. He's been fine from what I've seen and heard so far but doesn't have a stong stage presence. Was really hoping they'd be able to recruit Wilkenfeld.

Unfamiliar with the new drummer.

Hope these guys keep writing and are at least open to bringing their solo stuff to the setlist.

Duane's got some great candidates, including Evergreen which I think he co-wrote with Devon

Are you talking about drummer Alex Orbison? That is Roy's son.
