Love me some Nappy! I had the extreme good fortune to hear him play with Bob Margoilin at Boogie McCain's in Gadsden. Got to chat with him for a spell, too. Great, wonderful, funny guy! God bless him!

You can still find Nappy's cd with IAMCTB relatively cheaply on Amazon and/or eBay.

Has Mr. Tinsley Ellis playing on the recording.

"Is that a real poncho or is that a Sears poncho?"

Thanks for posting. spent a few late nights/early mornings with Nappy @ a little old blues club called Jackson's Station in Hodges Sc during the 70's and 80's. First introduced to the guitar magic of Tinsley Ellis playing with the Heartfixers there as well. Owner Gerald Jackson bought the old Hodges railway depot and moved it a couple of miles down the road. He and his partner ran the coolest late night blues venue in upstate SC for years. Music from 10 until 2 or 3 in the morning. would stay open all night if the crowd was still there and into it. Sadly, it Couldn't happen around here now though!
