Myles Kennedy-Year Of The Tiger

I have listened to about half of it. A little different then what you might expect. I dig it!!
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Went to see Myles Kennedy playing a small place called Gorilla in Manchester, which is located in a railway arch under Oxford Road Train Station. The place only holds about 350 people. He was amazing, just him on acoustic and vocals. he played a handful off Year Of The Tiger and the remainder of the set was made up of Alter Bridge (not a fan) and Mayfield Four songs. I wish he had played more off YOTT as it is such a brilliant album. Well worth going along to see him if he plays in your neck of the woods.

Great singer and can play guitar very well.

I would like to see him, but I don't think he is coming through Indy. Sometimes this area gets skipped over for some reason. 🙁
With the resonator playing/sound/tones it kind of reminds me of Chris Whitley. That guy was IMMENSELY talented!
I have never heard any of the Alterbridge stuff. If I have I did not know it. Maybe I should investigate that band , but probably unfairly kind of linked them to Creed, which I was not a big fan of that late 90's early 2000's hard rock sound/bands. Know nothing of Mayfield four.

Saw him in the Mayfield Four opening for Everclear probably 17 years ago. His vocals blew me away then. Such a great singer.
Alterbridge is worth giving a chance, but I think when they came out too many people couldn't look past the band being made up of members of Creed. They are fairly large everywhere but in the U.S.
