I know we get 3 sets, one each of ABB, The Band and The Grateful Dead. Has anyone heard or have a sense of what order they will play them in? I think over the two days in Watkins Glen they changed the order.

Think I found my own answer:

"Gov't Mule's first set of the NYE show will embody the "Grateful Mule" and feature Steve Kimock and Lincoln Schleifer. The second set will showcase "The Mule" with Larry Campbell. And the third set will glorify the "Allmule Brothers Band" featuring Chuck Leavell, Jack Pearson, and Paul Riddle, all of whom have contributed time to the Allman Brothers Band."

I called the Beacon to check on the scheduled end of the show. I was told they are set to play until 3 am. That kinda throws a wrench in my plans seeing as I was going to catch the 3 am train back to Fredericksburg. I gotta figure if I leave on time to catch the train I miss the best, post ABB, "Whipping Post" I'm not willing to do that, so I'm going to have to change to the 7 am train.

It's going to be a long ass day but I'm sure that, when I'm reflecting on the experience - eating my black eyed peas - it will all have been well worth the effort.

Billy - gotta love it when NYE falls on a Thursday nite ---- you've got Friday plus whole weekend to recover!

Yeah. If a show ending at 3 AM is my biggest problem of 2016... well I reckon I'll have a pretty darn good year. 😉

Chuck, Jack and Warren with the rest of the Mule should equal some of the best ABB style jamming ever.

Can't believe I'm missing Chuck...

Does anyone know if the 9PM time printed on the tickets is the show start time, or doors open time?

Box Office told me show starts at 9 ends at 3. I'm assuming doors open at 8, but I didn't confirm.

I'm orchestra row L seat 27 if anyone wants to say high. I'm on the aisle stage right second seating area from the wall.

Happy New Year everyone!

Me and the Mrs are Orch P/44-46 all the way against the far wall on the aisle. It should be a fun long night and will say hello if we are wandering about.
