Not sure if this has been posted or not ,but stumbled upon this on Amazon.

One reviewer mentioned :

"This version though is different from the others I had owned. Tracks 5 & 8 were the studio album versions on my old CD's. Tracks 5 and 8 are live versions on this newly purchased one where 5, Nobody Knows is from An Evening With and 8, Sailin' Cross the Devil's Sea is from 2nd Set. I like the live versions and but was just used to the studio versions from before. Just note there are differences now if you had previously owned this CD and are purchasing it again."

With a zillion 2 or >2 discs compilations that followed since Mycology was released, and therefor were a better overview of their catalogue, i think this re-issue is completely pointless.

Personally, I like the overview/ compilation  of a certain era of the band. Just focusing in on those albums. What probably would have made it better if they would have had 1-2 more studio releases to choose from and add in some live prior unreleased tracks  of Warren and Dicky's time together in the band. I am partial to that line up.

Any word on the Texas ‘71 release?

Recall that The Final Note 10/17/71, & Erie PA 2005 were slated for release this month sometime

must agree, the rerelease of Mycology seems pointless

I love the ABB

Final Note and Erie are coming - got my "review" copies a couple of days ago.

No release date for Texas yet, stay tuned!

I'll get right to it...

@stephen no updates yet!  Believe me, it will be front page news when I hear something.

If you have to login twice, it could be the time change, or if you have a bookmark with a different URL in the domain, the login would not be kept across domains (i.e. login to allmanbros.com is not held for allmanbrothersband.com).

I'll get right to it...
