I've been a little late to the party now and then throughout my life but I still find a way to make the most of it. I saw the ABB for the first time 10 years ago at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. I remember everything before, during, and after like it was last week. It was the first concert my buddy and I attended together in years and we re-connected not just as friends but with the music vibe as well. During the show Berry Oakely Jr. was invited out on stage and playing two songs with the band. I thought that was special.
I also started visiting this site for the first time too. ABB.com became a big part of my daily life just seeing and hearing what's going on. I made some new friends (some I met in person), exchanged music, donated to causes, went to the JFD, argued, laughed, cried, and most importantly, found an appreciation of all things Allman Brothers Band. Thank you all who've been part of this community and thank you band!
