I heard a podcast awhile back, and I think it was Sound Opinions where they talked about the music releases in 1991. If you got a few minutes go the wiki link below and check it out.
Pretty good stuff. A couple that I remember that came out that year, not that big ,but I still like to this day was Tin Machine "Tin Machine II" and Jethro Tull "Catfish Rising"
