In past years, weren't these themes announced WAY earlier than this?
For those in NYC area, Ticketmaster has given up on their Platinum pricing. And some
new good seats are suddenly available. Orchestra aisle seats for $101. Weren't there
yesterday. Would buy them myself, but already long.
Holding these seats till last minute is stupid. NYE, people make plans.
Nice show last night with Carmine Appice and Jimmy Vivino joining in on the encore. Sometimes having guests can be a good thing and then sometimes it can turn out to be a mess as I thought it was with Oz Noy on “Birth of the Mule”. I just remembered I felt the same way when I saw him jam with the Mule before.
There was a real nice version of Fallen Down into The Other One Jam and a three song Beatles covers that highlighted the show. I also enjoyed the Better Half backup singers which I thought added something to the band.
I sat in the loge last night and it was the emptiest I could remember for the Mule as the last 3 or 4 rows were empty. I was jammed between two extra sized folks taking up my seat and was easily able to move over to be more comfortable.
The Record Company opened and got a great response from the audience. Roots based music with a lot of energy.
I’ve been to many Mule shows over the years and have noticed that their fan base is not getting any younger.No offense to anyone.Was at the Waterbury show Saturday and it wasn’t close to a sellout.This I think would explain the empty seats.Im 65 and go see them every chance I get.I know there will always be tickets available and very reasonably priced which makes me very happy.HNY
Any thoughts what time the Beatles set will start tonight?
I have only seen the Philly show online from two different tapers. Did they allow taping for the other three shows?
