Warren really embraces the Allman Brothers and his legacy in the band in a major way. He played a significant part in their resurrection and in the second half of their career, so I'm glad he still does. Love that he's playing with Chuck & Jack at year's end and pullling out Dreams & Soulshine and a whole heap of others tonight. It will interesting to see if he sings Ramblin Man. I wouldn't count it out!

That line-up may have made my head explode had I been there. Thanks for the link.

Really cool night. I got to 12/30 every year and I think this was the best I've seen since 2010 or so. I really liked the deep mule cuts in the first set and seeing Chuck and Jack along with Kimmock on stage for Dreams was why I keep coming back. I thought the sound was exceptional. Over all a very enjoyable evening. As I've gotten older I've avoided new years shows and 12/30 is usually enough mule for me but I'm really jealous of those going tonight. Sets of music from basically 3 of the top bands of all time along with chuck and Jack ? Wow.
Dreams, I'll be the one, painted silver light, beautifully broken were my highlights.
I thought the schedule of 2014 along with Brian Farmer's passing put a dark shadow on the mule at the end of last year. Along with ScoMule and very hot show they put in Charleston back in April and Warren's solo tour, it's been quite an exceptional year. Here's to more great music in 2016 !
