Listening to this special that aired on SiriusXM on SiriusXM. So many great artists, songs & stories from people including Berry Gordy, Smoky Robinson, The Temptations, Four Tops, Martha & The Vandellas, Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and so many more!! If you can, go to the On Demand section of Ch. 49 and listen to this!! Motown had so much great music!!!

Motown is great, but from that era I prefer the Stax Volt Records artists; Sam and Dave, Booker T., Otis Redding,Steve Cropper, Staple Singers, Bar-Kays, it goes on and on. Stax put Memphis on the map back in 1957.
