Some time ago all the post 2009 shows were taken down, but now all the shows from 2004-2008 have been removed from the service as well. Brutal blow for me as a big fan of the last lineup. Ability to stream so many great shows gone including all the great 2005 versions of Egypt. Lost the ability to stream the August ‘05 shows with the Jack/Derek lineup. No idea why they’ve been pulled but it’s a shame to have such a great live catalogue for the last 10 years of the band and it not be available to stream and enjoy anywhere.

That is odd. Did the people running the ABB world which is all in the past now by 10 years or was it lack of interest by the public or something else?

I'm 77 years old ( be 78 if I make it to December) and first saw the band in February of 1970 and saw the original band about 20 times and I was hooked big time!!

Bill Graham announced on closing night of the Fillmore he had a lot a great bands on both coasts but the Allman Brothers Band was the best of them all. And what a gift is was to hear musicians play of that caliber.

So today I continue to be convinced the original band was the best lineup and Warren Haynes actually agreed on a recent interview BUT added he was proud of his time in the band and how hot the band was with Dickey and Woody in the early 90's and the years he and Derek were the lead players and Warren felt they did a good job upholding the band's legacy.

Also I'm aware some of the younger fans like the last lineup the best. That is odd to me but I respect it.

So I'm sorry those shows are no longer available. Maybe the caretakers of the ABB are planning to release some of them. A good Jack/Dickey show needs to be released too.

Here is Bill Graham talking about what a wonderful band the Allman Brothers Band was. It's also odd to me when I meet people at the big music store here and they don't care for the ABB and think bands like Black Sabbath can smoke the ABB easy and any lineup. Different folks I suppose.

Noticed this yesterday --- horse s**t --- maddening --- Disney vs. Direct TV

My nugs subscription just became immensely less valuable ---- no I don't want to listen to even more Goose and Billy Strings...

What's curious is that I made playlists of the ABB tunes I liked THAT I CAN STILL PLAY even though the shows themselves are non-discoverable.

Tells me they're just all on some server somewhere and not all the buttons got flipped

Also means they're ready to be turned back on or at least migrated somewhere if terms are agreed to

Eternal question remains who's talking to whom and who's making the decisions?

Shows back on Nugs.net.  Looks like about 163 shows.  I have not searched in detail.  Would be nice if the Butch Trucks service that streamed the beacon shows were available.
