I went to see him 1989 with the Robin McAuley version and the show was cancelled.
I remember the Killer Dwarfs were opening.

Speaking of Canadian bands. I was listen to a podcast the other day from Chris Jericho and he had Todd Kerns and Brent Fitz on his show and they were talking about just bands from Canada. Some I never heard of , a few maybe , but the majority ,no. It was an interesting listen.

Here are some of the bands that I can remember them talking about, that I never heard of.

They all kinda boasted about Street Heart. They thought the would have crossed over into America a little more. It sounds like they have some tunes that were covered by some american bands. I want to say one was by Heart.

Streetheart was a great band especially live. But they singer did have a high range which turns off some people. Not metal - more of a classic rock/prog vibe with some commercial stuff also. The band would splinter off leading to other bands such as Loverboy. Tom Cochran pretty much grabbed most of the band. Bassist Spyder is great.
