he loses, he had a bad shoulder that hindered me & there should be a rematch
it's boxing, & Manny's a politician in his spare time --
the fact that anyone'd spend any $ on a rematch, is what would shock the shit out me

Had all my old boxing PPV buddies over on Saturday night, we watched all the PPVs together, from the Tyson era of dominance to the De La Hoya era to bitten ears, Julio Cesar Chavez, Butterbean on the undercard, Fan Man, Riddick Bowe, Don King smiling whilst taking all our cash, so many fun memories! Split the Floyd-Manny price up to $10 a piece, so no great financial loss there.

That was it. Over, done, kaput. Next PPV I spend money on has Ronda Rousey on the card. It's not that MMA is "better" than boxing or not, it's that for all the reasons to not trust boxing anymore, the biggest one is...if the "fighters" in the biggest matches are getting paid so well that they could care less about the outcome, why should I?

i have to admit that i wasted 100 bucks and 2 good hours of sleep on saturday night. Wont do that again anytime soon. LOL

The next time I hear a boxing analyst say "You cant win a fight backing up" this will come to mind.

I am totally indifferent to boxing, but my friends at work who care about this sort of thing were livid about how anti-climactic the fight was.

"That wasn't boxing," my Bosnian friend Mehmed said indignantly. "That was comedy!"

I don't know why boxing fans expected anything different than what they got with this fight. It followed the script of most big Mayweather fights. He gets on his bike and rides for 12 rounds and wins by decision.

Mayweather isn't a fighter as he's rarely on the attack, but he's one heck of a strategic defensive boxer and that's why he's 48-0.

If you are into MMA, check out Paige Van Zant - could possibly beat Rousey in a year - she is relentless like the energizer bunny - she recently beat a "veteran" 24 yr old who obviously underestimated Van Zant

Anybody gullible enough to pay what they ask for these farcical so called championship boxing matches get exactly what they ask for so I don't want to hear them complain about feeling ripped off. Should have known better. Real boxing died two decades or so ago.

it's so all-for-laughs -- now Floyd's done his part, thrown the cliched gas on the fire -- "Manny's a coward! He won't get a rematch!!" with vision$$$$$$$$$ of Rematch sugarplums dancing in his head at the same time

they's often busts -- Ali-Holmes -- Gerry Cooney's later fights (w/M.Spinks, & Foreman) the 2nd & 3rd Leonard-Duran fights -- that's boxing alright

3 mos. or so hence -- Manny emerges from hospital to a pre-assembled press corp, & calls out Floyd -- "Coward? Coward this Floyd" while showing his shoulder surgery scar -- "I nearly beat you w/1 arm Floyd -- now I'll beat your face in......"
