Ha! I took my now-8 year old to a minor league baseball game a 3 or 4 years ago on a May 4th - a Sunday afternoon game. Had no idea...hadn't planned the date or anything. The whole staff around the stadium was decked out in Star Wars costumes. The 1st pitch ceremony involved Princess Leia being ushered out to the mound - I'm not even sure who threw the 1st pitch or if she was supposed to be part of a prisoner gang like in Jedi or what. Darth Vader was there. Boba Fett. Oh, and the video screen in center field had the intro script running about in a galaxy far far away. It was the craziest thing for someone clueless about Star Wars Day.

My now-8 year old couldn't have cared less at the time. Then last year we went through 12+ months of non-stop Star Wars (and Legos). Go figure.
