Spin off Dylan Nobel thread. Like many guitarists, Mark Twain wanted to be a pro musician, but around thirty admitted to himself he wasn't very good ( sound familiar?) and settled for his strength in journalism. Did his road time, traveling with guitar, finally knuckled down to a straight career . . . he was one of us, so was Dylan, Mark Twain, Jack Kerouac, you, me, enlightened children of the American Road.
