March, 2015 at the Beacon...

How about:
1 week of Govt Mule
1 week of TTB
1 week of the Gregg Allman Band....
the road can go on....Jim

I thought the same thing Jim. The expectation is already in the minds of the consumer. That is half the battle with ticket sales. Jaimoe's Jazzz Band opens up.
I"m sure that this idea has been floated. Would love to count on something like this. Spring 2015 just won't be the same without the ABB to look forward to.

Three weeks - three bands! I dunno ... sounds like too much work for the scalpers!

That sounds fun!
I'd go to those, provided they didn't immediately sell out.

I'd be in for the first 2 of those three weeks, no hesitation. Somebody needs to make that happen.

A bit of a scheduling headache for out-of-towners who wanted to see all three bands!
Of course, unlike with the ABB, it wouldn't be a case of the mountain always coming to Mohamed!

Why not just head down to Wanee. Not the Beacon but a really sweet setting at the right time of year with a great opportunity to see all bands in one weekend and .......... perhaps a late announcement that there will be a special reunion set...... I can dream.

Don't think there is enough demand; but two days of each could sell out a week

Stop trying to resurrect the body... RIP. None of those bands have the following or the years of history to match the ABB pulling power for the Beacon run. Since even GAB is touring nationally, who is gonna fly in to NYC to see these guys? Makes for a much smaller pool of ticket buyers.

I normally have been staying away and weighing in on all these threads about the band ending
and reunions and etc. If I were a betting man , I HIGHLY DOUBT there will be any reunions
of the ABB next year at Peach fest or anyone sitting in with a family member band anytime soon.
It's like when you break up a relationship or leave something, you dont call them next week and
say "hey, lets get together", or" maybe we can hang out in a few months". There is a reason why
Derek and Warren are walking, even if it is on good terms. Maybe they all need some time apart to, refresh, concentrate on their own projects ,new ventures etc.... Get away from the ABB vibe for awhile. Be their own entity.
I think Derek mentioned he felt somewhat relieved .
People just have to let it go. Yeah we all like to dream and have fantasy's, but there is reality too.
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

It may work but at the end of the day the last post is, IMO pretty accurate. They are all already back to work on the individual projects, no stopping to smell the roses. Keep in mind this is their vocation, how they make a living and the jobs they create for those involved are important. The Brothers, as it was is done and I think it will be done for quite a while. Of course we can hope but reality would suggest to move on and enjoy what they left us and all the great bands that they have spawned.

The TTB stand will be in September as usual. Mule will go on as planned. Mule are not booking shows 3 months after the NYE stand. Get a grip people, not going to happen.

It's Over Johnny!

Just take 3 weeks off and a second mortgage to cover the cost of hotel. I thought you were a fan? 😉
Perhaps alternating nights would be better. 😛

This.
