Manson Family Vacation - I saw this movie

Watched this movie on Netflix, awkward and quirky - with a twist.
Low budget movie, not action packed or anything.
Am not going to spoil it, but if you like weird movies, you may like this one.
The movie explores, a little bit, how even talking about the Manson murders makes people feel uncomfortable.

The subject never ceases to fascinate me.
If you're genuinely interested in learning more about The Manson Family, Vincent Bugliosi's "Helter Skelter" is an incredible read...............about anything you'd like to know. And the subject is very close to Rock 'n' Roll. As most know, Manson was a musician and his rage over being turned down for a record deal was very likely responsible for his choice of the Tate residence, as it was the former home of the producer who turned him down, Terry Melcher. Manson had spent time at the home in the past. Drummer Dennis Wilson of The Beach Boys, as most would know, got in WAY over his head and was lucky to come out alive.
Side note: Part of why this subject peaks my interest is that while we didn't know it at the time, when the Tate/LaBianca murders occurred, our family was living in Simi Valley outside of L.A., 7 or 8 miles from The Spahn Ranch where the Manson Family lived. I'm in touch with a couple of ladies from Simi on Facebook whose parents used to drop them off on the weekends to go horseback riding there. Crazy, you say? Well, how could anyone have known? It was just some nice hippies selling horseback rides, part of how they made their living. One of those women actually dated one of the clan members who later was convicted of murder. "He was a nice guy", she said. She also had coffee in the kitchen with Charlie and a few others. She said there was nothing really weird about it at all. Little did she know..............

Haha, ok, if you want to read the weirdest tinfoil book about Manson out there, this one is quite entertaining:
