Got to see Los Lobos on Sunday night at City Winery in NYC and beyond some great music (including an ABBish One Way Out) I got to hang out with the band after the show through a mutual friend. Took the opportunity to mention how much I enjoyed when Hidalgo would sit in with the Brothers at The Beacon and he said it was just as much of a thrill for him as he grew up being inspired by the ABB. Very cool and down to Earth guys.

One other related comment - on the way out after the show saw a guy lugging some gear and turns out that David Hidalgo was using some of Hubert Sumlin’s guitars/amps during the show.
