Long time message board members, check in here.

It's been a long time since I've visited this site. Dickey's passing brought back a lot of memories and I was curious to see which members are still active here- and hopefully in life.
I see Photo Ron, Rusty, PorkchopBob, Lee, Robslob have posted recently.
Anyone heard from BigDaveonBass, Marley, etc.
PS. If Dickey's passing won't get Cliff Lake on here, nothing will! 😆

Chris Charles by chance? If so, hey man!

Ive been here about 20 years

I beam in from time to time when my Starship (U.S.S Full Tilt Boogie) is in the hood. Been busy terraforming possible "Class M" planets with Indica & Sativa strains. Also working on my invention, the premise is to put seeds from a pot plant in the vat and through a proprietary process, you get little buds to pop up. Similar to a popcorn popper. I just need to find seeds from that "male" plant that identify as "female". The genome sequence is giving me grief. I "think therefore I am" that the answer is molecular, but more sub-atomic than merely genes on a chromosome. Have not gotten to that chapter in the book yet. The book does have pictures, so that helps
Off to the lab/recording studio to remedy the situation. Might be a high orbit trajectory mission this day?
Oh yeah, nice to see ya Chris... Hope it is all good with you and yours

The road goes on forever! Still one of my favorite sites to visit and hang out.

Same here, don’t post much, but check in often.

Check in pretty regular. Less incentive to post with no new records, shows, etc.
simple statement-the world is a poorer place without Dickey, Gregg and Butch

Hi all.

Haven't managed to log in for over 18 months, even resetting my password several times. Tried again to day when I saw an article on the Allman Betts Band and it allowed me to log in straight away with a new password. Its like coming across an old friend.

Never posted much, always enjoyed lurking too much. Be well.

Nice to see you all! I'm in the midst of a massive update of the old ("Blue") site code because the underlying framework is out of support. It won't replace this site but for historical reasons we keep it online. Lots of nostalgia value crawling through the posts (over 3M to the Forum!) and seeing the names of so many great Peach heads! I really appreciate the folks who continue to come here and socialize. We were social before social media 🙂 !
Cheers and Hit that Note,
Rowland
I'll get right to it...

That is so true on many levels. Nowadays, having real time interaction with others is so blasé. On the old board, way back when, you could have multiple conversations simultaneously with people of various personalities/backgrounds/interests at the same time. All brought together by the love of music and that certain connotation that applies to those that really dig on the ABB.
