"Little Martha" with Derek Trucks and Jerry Douglas

Very good! Nice version.
Is that the only song Duane Allman wrote? I can't remember anything else.
Years ago there was a printed interview with Duane and he claimed the song came to him in a dream. Duane was in a motel room and Jimi Hendrix walked in and went over to the sink and turned on the water and began playing the song with his fingers squeezing on the stream of water flowing into the sink.
I haven't heard that story in 50 years or more. Anyone ever heard that before?
Dickey said it was written for a girl named Dixie and not the Little Martha in the cemetery. And In Memory of Elizabeth Reed was written for Boz Scaggs' girlfriend and not Elizabeth Reed in the cemetery.
Awesome
Jerry is diggity
@robertdee I'm nearly positive the only other song credited to Duane is "Happily Married Man" but he also got partial credit for "Hot 'Lanta".
