Think I'd rather listen to a 90 min Louisiana Lou > Keytar Solo > Angeline.

You never noticed how much time they weren't playing?

That's hilarious, though I think I've seen it before.

I've never been a gigantic Grateful Dead fan (not "Deadhead" status by any means), but I attended the Tuscaloosa show in 1977 - friend (a bona fide Deadhead) had a spare ticket, so I went. What I remember more than anything was that I fell asleep and woke up something like 4 times over the course of the show. They tuned often and extensively. I saw the Dead (sans Jerry) several times in the 2000's (with Warren - Warren/Jimmy) - don't remember them noodling and tuning near as much.

LMAO!

I think I may have been there also. I remember listening to minutes of it once at a show and the more they tuned the worse it got. Jerry and Bob out of tune themselves and from each other so Phil tuned somewhere in the middle. 😛 He had a WTF face.

Sounds like a Bob Weir solo.
