Hey Joe, did not know you lived in Indiana. I am just a little North of Indy. I am originally from northern Ind about a half hour up from Fort Wayne. You are in that snow belt area that always seems to get hammered with snow.

The predictions down here have been all over the map. It's about 5:00 am here on Saturday morning and nothing has happened. Last I heard was 5-8 inches kinda of like last weekend. Just a nice covering, nothing crazy. I think tomorrow and into next week it's gonna get pretty cold. I think people overreact to much and run to the grocery store and clear the shelves out. That small amount is not gonna show you in where you can't get out. I am sure most people have enough food in there house to get by for a day or two. It's like they are getting ready to make six course meals,God love them!

I usually call this type of weather "french toast storms" cause everybody goes to the grocery to buy eggs, milk and bread!

I would take some snow instead of this damn deep freeze. One of the rare occasions where my dog is begging for a short walk.

Small world....My sister in law lives in Carmel, IN...Basically a suburb of Indianapolis....I've been there several times and like the area very much. Although as someone who lives in upstate, NY in the foothills of the Adirondacks, I'm not sure I could live in Indiana as it seems mostly very flat and has very few lakes and rivers...But the people I've met in Indy over the years are all very nice, friendly folks....

In my neck of CT, we are getting wildly varied predictions. The latest one says 8 to 13 inches with lots of ice.

Since it is due to start late afternoon, this will be errand day. Gas for the generator, coffee, dog food, junk food, beer for me and wine for the wife. My greatest wish, other than no harm/damage occurring as a result of the story, is to be happily snowed in tomorrow in order to watch an excellent day of football.

Anyone have a snow plow? I was out for a bit Saturday then 6 hours plowing Sunday before the games. 88 Chevy truck broke down when I got back home, good timing I guess. Pretty good storm here in NE Ohio. Rained for a couple hours just to mess everything up.

We got about 12" in the NW corner of PA. It's 9 on the thermometer this morning. Supposed to rain tomorrow. That should make things interesting.

Be safe everyone.

Temps Mon morning -10 too - 25 depending on your location but down right balmy now in the teens.

We getting a little snow piling up, 5-6 inches overnight throughout the day, here in NW Indiana. What's really crazy is what they say about our temperatures, predicting wind chills of -50 on Wednesday and by Sunday +50, 100 degree temp swing!!!........Peace.......joe

Had a nice snow storm today in Grand Rapids. High of 0 is predicted on Wednesday. Hanging out with some headphones on and listening to Phish. Did snow blow the driveway.
