Leaving for Saratoga now

Heading out, looking forward to the TTB tonight.6:30 start so i guess lots O music.

Safe Travels !!! ......Will be right behind you. Departing around 1pm.....

you as well, we have about a 5hr drive. spending the night there. Hotels not cheap.

Thoroughbred racing season driving normally high hotel prices through the roof. If you've never been to the track, it's worth it. Starts at 1:15pm today. Don't need to be a bettor.......the history is impressive.

If you have some time, you should definitely stop by the track.

Don't miss Sharon Jones. That woman ( and band ) can boogie !

My wife and I are leaving for Saratoga in about an hour.....She's never seen the Tedeschi/Trucks Band or Sharon Jones and the Dab Kings and so is very excited. We have Orchestra seats and so should have a good view of the band.
For those curious about the horse track, it might be of interest to you to know that a guy won $472,000 dollars on Monday from placing a $.50 cent bet on-line....Yes, I said fifty cents. That said, the race track is a very cool place to spend an afternoon.
Stay frosty everyone, it's going to be a hot night at SPAC! Safe travels as well...

leaving at 2 pm be in toga @4:30pm . the track is closed today because it is Tuesday , but my wife and I will probably stop at track tomorrow before heading home. can't wait for tonight!! if you see a one armed guy in the very front row of the pit ...say hi...my name is Jim. long live the ABB family!! Susan and Derek at the Spa!! woo-hoo !! SPAC is the first place I ever saw the ABB...lot of history for me. see you tonight

Back safe and sound. What a wonderful show. We have seen TTB a few times now and have really enjoyed watching them develop into the band they have now established themselves as. It was our first time visiting the SPAC. What a great venue, you guys are so lucky. I will be back at some point, beautiful area and great people. Let me tell you, we were staying at a hotel not far from SPAC. About a 30-40min walk. The hotel clerk did not advise us walking as he said it can be dangerous. Anyway we walked up to the show, and tried to get a cab for the ride home. However we waited and waited and no cab. A very nice couple saw our plight and offered us a lift back to the hotel. We shot the breeze about all things ABB on the way back, awesome. So if by chance you are reading this thanks again. I’ll pay it forward.
Did anyone else think that Derek was going to conjure up Jimi during that guitar play at the end of The Storm? I still can’t get over that.

Next time we should drive down together.
I also love SPAC and Saratoga and the area. Have driven down for many memorable shows. My favorite of the Northeast is Gilford followed by Finger Lakes and SPAC.
Agree with the conjuring of Jimi. I even find on the album that near the end there are tones/noises that I have not heard since Jimi did them. Played live it is over the top.
I find that the TTB just keeps getting better and it was awesome to begin with.
