I'm in for Albany
Hopefully we'll get some nearby "Woodstock" friends.

I will either check out Nashville or Atlanta. However, I know I am in the minority, but I've always disliked Michael McDonald's voice.

I don't know anyone who sees Michael McDonald as anything other than the Michael Bolton of the 1970s. Everyone I know sees him and his way too smooth Motown soul singing as kind of a joke (didn't the 40 Year Old Virgin touch on this?). I was surprised to see him as part of a Last Waltz tribute of all things.

I see that the Orpheum in boston has a presale
How to you get a presale code?
Does anyone know what that is through?

Usually you get the presale codes by signing up online for newsletters from the venue, the artist or both. I've scored front row a couple of times by getting Gov't Mule/Warren emails and getting in on the presale.

Other than that movie, it seems everyone else loves his voice. Other artists praise him, but I just don't get it.

Boston code = Waltz

Thank you muleme for the code just got 2 tickets

Going to opening night in Hollywood, FL.

I'm sure Michael McDonald is a nice guy and all but I just can't stand his voice. Back in the day I saw The Doobie Brothers every year outside of Detroit. Always a fun show. Then one year McDonald got back with them. It was awful. And they did two sets. Ugh. 😮
Everything in Moderation. Including Moderation.

Toronto code is WALTZ as well. Some really good tix available. We got 12th row, dead centre.

Michael McDonald is precisely the reason I am skipping the Christmas Jam.

Funny-he is also one of the reasons I am skipping the Christmas Jam as well. The other reason is Bob Weir.

Thanks John. We're thinking of buying. Not sure, cause I hate the drive to TO in the dead of winter with the weather being so dicey.

Hi John. Thanks again for posting the code. Sandy and I bought tix for us and a friend. Also, we passed the code info to a couple of TO friends who bought presale tix too. We're in the center section, row M, seats 41-43 (on the aisle). Hope to see you there!
Sandy says hi!

I am thinking those of us lucky enough to get tickets to the sold out Christmas Jam in Asheville this year will be getting the "first" tour date on this excellent adventure.
Thanks,
Mike

Was fortunate to see Warren bring this to life last May during Jazz Fest at the Saenger, it was awesome, was my highlight of many that week end.... I get the Michael Mc Donald thing. but .. he doesn't dominate or distract from this great two set show... Im going again in Miami next month....no Stage Fright here.................
