Wow. That's pretty cool.

Are the showtimes an indication that it will be a 3 hour show?

No, it says they are playing "an hour" of the final show. My guess is they will play 1 set.

Considering its been slotted at three hours and the shows start circa 8:30 and end circa 11:30 I would say this is probably not going to be an extended show as people have speculated

How do you know the show is going to end at 11:30? The only thing is I think if they go past midnight they have to pay a fine.

You are not reading the Sirius release. They are only airing 1 hour of the final show, not the whole show. I don't know why it is three hour time slots.

Sirius tends to replay things multiple times so it is possible they are just replaying the same hour 3 consecutive times.

From all indications the last show - and possibly the 10/27 show - will go past Midnight. I've heard the increased ticket prices - $50 for orchestra - is to pay the union fines for going past Midnight. I would guess the 10/28 show will as 10/29 = Duane

They have gone past Midnight before, just not very often.
( Big House show was one for example)

I hope for those involved they get a special treat; but with Gregg saying no guests (if he is being honest) I just don't see them running a show into overtime

Did Galadrielle count as a guest? Oops, my bad Gregg

That is the silliest thing I have heard. Why in the world would Galadrielle count as a guest. That is obvious to any thinking person NOT what Gregg would have been talking about. You are the only person calling Galadrielle a "guest".

sarcasm definition. A form of irony in which apparent praise conceals another, scornful meaning. For example, a sarcastic remark directed at a person who consistently arrives fifteen minutes late for appointments might be, “Oh, you've arrived exactly on time!”

Really? Why? Would Susan be a guest? Devon Allman? A guest - to me - is anyone not in the current ABB lineup. But I don't mind being called silly lol

Uh see his response below. Where is the sarcasm in the Galdrielle comment?

Her lovingly hugging Jaimoe at his kit is considered a guest appearance now? You are the first one I have seen say that. I must be missing something.

I didn't know she sat in - thought she was just hanging - hence the confusion re: my sarcasm

Pete if you click on the Show Schedule tab on the Sirius site you will see that the run time for the program is only 1 hour, so I guess someone at Sirius is going to make the call on what tunes to include.

Yup. From Jambase:

http://www.jambase.com/Articles/123147/SiriusXM-To-Broadcast-Final-Allman-Brothers-Band-Show

"It's been confirmed to JamBase that Classic Vinyl will air the ENTIRE final Allman Brothers Band show at each time listed. "
