This is terribly tragic news. As we are from the same general area in Michigan, I have know him on a small level for over 20 years. He is a true gentleman. 🙁

Lee you are right ,Larry is a true gentleman, i have known him about the same length of time and don't think you could find a kinder soul. i see another great human being made a 500$ donation, Derek Trucks

He is such a great guy. Pretty much EVERY time the ABB came to Michigan, they would have him sit in. He would talk to fans, sign autographs, etc.

One other note. A few years ago I went to the old Buddy Guy's Legends to see him. He doesn't have a road crew or anything like that so I helped him set up and I had no clue what I was doing. Smile

a friend had alerted me to his sad situation recently...
we saw him last September in Kalamzoo when he sat in with Mule ~ it was the 2nd show the band had done after Farmer passed...it was where Warren truly acknowledged it & they played some blues together! he certainly was a pleasure to watch ~ so much talent!
