Well, gonna leave soon to see this show in Dallas tonight. Really looking forward to it. Kid Rock puts on an awesome show, and I'm glad that the prices are low once again. $20 for all tickets, plus $20 shirts, cheaper concessions, free parking, etc. Only saw Foreigner once before in 2002 when Lou Gramm was still there, but I've seen recent clips of them, and they still sound really good with Kelly Hansen on vocals. I'll give a review and let everyone know how it was.
Well, the show kicked ass last night!! Foreigner kicked off the show & played an hour's worth of the hits!! Mick Jones is a great player and Kelly Hansen does a great job singing to. Kid Rock closed and was awesome!! After the first 2 songs, he said he was having some vocal issues, and went backstage to rest them for a few minutes, then came back out and said that it wouldn't be perfect, but that he'd give us everything he had, and he did that for sure!! Did the whole show!! He's an entertainer for sure. He did a few rap tunes, played guitar, drums, did a little record spinning as well, used a talkbox at one point like Peter Frampton. Glad for the cheap prices for everything as well. 4 hot dogs & 4 cokes altogether was just $20 as well, which is definitely a bargain!! If you get a chance, go to this show!!
