Friend in L.A. wrote and Allman Betts was hot in Hollywood last night. Matt Abts, Robbie Krieger and Marc Ford set in for several songs.

Some folks on this board (and Facebook, which I call Fakebook) have expressed negative thoughts about the Allman Betts Band, but I think they're fantastic and will see them every chance I get. They were a lot of fun the times I have seen them, especially BO Jr singing Shakedown Street

Yeah I don't understand that Jack. They are fine and getting better everyday. Are the the Allman Brothers or Govt Mule or TTB? No but still a real good show and they are getting better and better.

Yeah blackey, I really enjoy them. First time I saw them, I turned to my buddy Kevin and remarked "You know, Duane Betts really plays guitar the way an Allman Brothers Band guitar is supposed to sound" and he agreed with me.

I was at the LA show with the infamous Scotty S! Left Coast reunion of sorts.

Johnny Stachela has become one hell of a player as well.
