Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

cool! I saw this tour here in nj. was extremely loud!

I saw that tour and the one after it. After the run of 5-6 albums before this one, Turbo was an overproduced '80s sounding disappointment to me. In concert they were still playing many great classics, though I could have done without some of the 3-4 minute power last note endings. I'm not talking cool improv or extra solo sections in songs, litterally the ending would take minutes.
Saw them again about 4-5 years ago. Whitesnake was suppose to open / coheadline and canceled, so I thought we'd get a long Priest show because of it. Nope. 1:25 minutes + a 5 minute Halford call/response vocal thing with the crowd followed by a single encore song. Done in 1:35.
I'd get this for this 30th anniversary release because of the live show if it is good.

One of my least favorite Priest albums. It sounds just like the year it was made.

Yeah I agree it sounds like the year it was made. When I first heard the song Turbo Lover on the late night radio show " Metal Shop" back in the 80's , I was kinda shocked a little. Really did not sound like the traditional Priest. It grew on me and its okay. I am excited to hear the live stuff with this disc.
This reminds me of the Turbo commercials from the 80's
Judas Priest - Turbo Commercial 1
Judas Priest - Turbo Commercial 2
Rob Halford Virgin Mobile Commercial

The good thing about the live album is the set list differs some from "Priest...Live" that came from the same tour.
