I wish that I had known about this much earlier so I could've planned to attend. Tribute show for Johnny - band features Jimmy Hall, Donna Hall, Melody Trucks and others - including some of Johnny's scions.

This past weekend in Florence, Alabama there was a tribute to Roger Hawkins of the Swampers. Major major players were on the stage. I found the below on the internet:
