While the anniversary of Lennon's death (tragic) got all the publicity yesterday, this item was rather important, as well. John was a poet, activist, actor and musician and I had the pleasure of seeing him perform a couple of times. He was a force. He will be missed.

Thx thx thx so much for posting, I was unaware of this! A great soul, fantastic poet and thinker, yes he will be truly missed. His first record, "Graffiti Man" with Jesse Ed Davis, has always been a favorite of mine. Have seen him perform a few times as well, challenging and inspiring.

Did he die on the anniversary of Lennon's death? Uncanny coincidence.
