John Prine and his band came into NY playing for a packed Webster Hall last. Great night of musical Americana, the songs are rich with stories and instrumental girth. The show was opened up by Kelsey Waldon who later joined John for 2 songs Unwed Fathers and Paradise.

No tripods or video cam's allowed so I took a couple pic's and video from the back of the room. Poor quality as the Webster Hall vibrates like no other, perhaps it adds to the venue's vibe. I took a bag out of a garbage can, put the can upside down on a table, took 3 empty drink cups to prop up my camera for a little height over the crowd, and then had my rinky dink picture camera video a few songs late. It's the best video I could get (I put up 4 of the 6 I took). The louder the music the more the vibration. Mediocre clips at best but it'll get your ears into the room if nothing else.

His new disc The Tree Of Forgiveness is solid throughout and this is a great tour to see Mr. Prine. He's bouncing around the globe and extending the tour due to it's success.
