John is still going strong at 82 years old!! This was his encore tune.

I was quite curious as to how he would pull this off, first tour as a trio, EVER. At times it worked, at other times, not so much.

I have more video, the next one I will upload is a 13 minute version of Sonny Landreth's "Congo Square". Mayall really scorches on that, alternating between keyboards and harmonica, even playing both at once at times. Just stunning how he pulled it off.

On other, guitar oriented tunes however, it did not work quite so well. His guitar chops are more in line with a backup, rhythm player and the sound really suffered without a hot lead player on board. And when I say a hot lead player, we all know how famous Mayall is for schooling great guitar players who go on to fame and fortune.
