John Fogerty, Willie Nelson to Perform at the White House
John Fogerty, Willie Nelson, Mary J. Blige, Common and Romeo Santos will perform on the South Lawn of the White House on Thursday, November 6 for “A Salute to the Troops: In Performance at the White House.” The PBS music special—set to go down in advance of Veterans Day—will take place in front of a live audience that will include hundreds of members of the military and their families.
President Obama and his wife will also be in attendance.The show, including President Obama’s remarks, will be streamed live via whitehouse.gov. The PBS special will then air the following Friday at 9pm ET on PBS.
Very cool, thanks for the word. I saw Fogerty for the 1st time last yr and was very impressed. Wonder if Willie will return to the WH roof to burn one!
