Just heard this the other day. I am not really a fan of some of the "national sports media" guys, but I always enjoyed listening to him. Had a lot of knowledge and insight.

Clayton as one of the first insiders who gave us some real scoops before things broke officially but I think he sort of got lost in the shuffle with some of the younger and more aggressive in your face sports gossip reporters these days.
He was a great resource and a real gentlemen and I appreciated his laid back way of reporting. RIP John
