..Ringo Starr. Kinda trivial info I guess 😉 . Did not know he was married to Barbara Bach's sister.

Joe didn't either until he finally got sober.

Joe said he can't remember from the late 1970's until the early 90's when he was told either get sober or die. Joe said he is told by a number of people he had a terrific time all those years but unfortunately can't remember.

Joe said he found his best menu items for staying high but still being able to function enough to play was Camel Lights cigarettes, Vodka and Cocaine. He consumed a steady diet of those vices for close to 20 years. Joe said when he was high all the time, he felt people in the Eagles thought he knew what he was doing. When he became sober, Joe worried now they could tell he didn't know what he was doing.

Another piece of rock n roll trivia I never knew.

The house/apt building on the cover of Physical Graffiti is the same house / steps from the Stones Waiting on a Friend video. Went by the house while in NYC last week.

For those of us who were fairly young when the MTV thing hit, who didn't love that Stones video? One of my all time favorite Stones tunes AND videos. There's just something about watching Keith sitting on those steps awaiting the arrival of all the members of the band at various points.

Of course Keith had a cigarette in hand/mouth, appeared to be bull sh*tting galore, and various scenes city life happening all around them, etc....I can't explain it, but for a young 12 year watching MTV for the first time, that video was just COOL.....

So, what I'm getting from this, is Joe didn't know what he was doing when he joined The Eagles? Makes sense....
