Jimmy Herring sitting in with Gregg last night

I just saw this on Alan Paul's twitter. Nice.

Outstanding! Who is the keyboardist (big guy, beard, hat)? He looks a little like Big Stephen Mac' from Birmingham.

Gregg is now on the road with a new solo band that includes guitarist Scott Sharrard, keyboardist Peter Levin, drummer Steve Potts, ABB percussionist Marc Quinones and bassist Ron Johnson, as well as horn players Jay Collins, Art Edmaiston and Marc Franklin. jambands.com

Great stuff.
Here's a couple of more songs without Jimmy.
Queen Of Hearts
Dreams

Finally a guitar player! And what a player. GAF with Jimmy Herring oh man oh man. The crowd reaction says it all hopefully maybe Gregg noticed and can put two and two together ... of course we are talking Gregg.

Scott Sharrard & the Brickyard Band playing Little Wing
Everyone has a plan, till you get punched in the face,

Love Jimmy. Makes anyone better.
That is also a good version of Little Wing. Scott can play. Gregg just doesn't want him to. 😉

I like Scott....
On Queen of Hearts I felt Gregg should've told the talking asswipes in the house to shut the eff up!
What morons...they pay to see/hear the man,he plays one of his most beautiful ballads and the idiots talk right over it...wow!
Rant over....now I'm reminded why I go to so few shows, but heck,I'd hope they'd shut up during home viewing/listening 😉

X2
I couldn't agree more.

It would be amazing if they set it up so you could use wireless headphones at shows. Just to tune those people out as much for the sound possibilities.
Mule shows have always amazed me with the constant chatter on recordings. Saw a TTB show with a guy doing play by play for his buddies right beside us. With each beer he got louder. Thank God he was convinced that a fan as big as he should definitely make his way up front. 😉
Always nice to see Jimmy. Those videos always lead to others and next thing it is hours later.

That was pretty good,Scott is a solid player, unfortunately he doesn't get to show off his skills as much with this band as Gregg continues to play the same old songs tour after tour.

For me, the only thing worse than talkers, is viedeotapers. If you happen to be behind someone doing it, then it's distracting as hell and you're basically watching the show through their viewfinder. Happened to me at a Mule show in Philly two or three years ago. Guy's video recorder was one row ahead of me and right at my eye level, as much as I tried not to, I couldn't help but stare trough his viewfinder. It was annoying, so after a few songs,I tapped him and told him it was in my way. He was very cool, apogized and stopped taping. I think I was in the right on that one.

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing a guest or two at the Savannah gig. Sounds good by the way. My first time hearing the new band.

A guy in front of me was attempting to film the entire Roger Waters Wall show on his cell phone. First question is why would anyone want to do that? Second is how can they not realize how annoying that is?
