Gregg Allman, 12/8/47-5/27/17 - gone 7 years ago today. The week he passed away, I spoke to Jaimoe for Rolling Stone. Here's our conversation.

Great words from Jaimoe!  "... there was never a question that Gregg would be the singer ..." - Absolutely glad that it worked out that way, but I've read and heard through the years that Duane approached Eddie Hinton about singing in his new band.  Clarification?
