Ran across this segment on Youtube about Jacksonville's Southern Rock bands. All stuff we know however there is an old home movie of Skynyrd playing a free concert in the park. They have two drummers. I had never read or heard of that. Maybe it was just a one-off that day.

I read about that just recently. I think what happened was Ronnie allowed drummer Bob Burns to return to the band and his replacement Ricky Medlocke wasn't asked to leave. He moved over and they decided to continue with two drummers. Later Medlocke left to front a band, something he had wanted to do for awhile. Medlocke returned I think in 1996 was the year as a lead guitar player.
