Great show from Jackie Greene and Anders Osborne last night @ The Warfield in San Francisco. I missed all but one tune of Phil Lesh & Friends ("Bertha"). It was already 11:15 and I took the train ("BART"), didn't want to wait until the last train which would have put me home around 2:00 AM. Didn't want to deal with San Francisco parking/traffic. Good decision.

Jackie and Anders were both great. They opened together, just the two of them acoustically with Jackie on banjo. Really pretty stuff, only a 20 minute set. Then Jackie and Anders both did around 45 minute sets with their respective bands, then Phil and Friends with both of them.

Jackie and his band did a really sweet five tune tribute to Tom Petty: Runnin' Down A Dream, Learning To Fly, Into The Great Wide Open, Last Dance With Mary Jane, You Wreck Me. Jackie said early on, "All of us are huge Tom Petty fans so please indulge us." The crowd really dug it, standing ovation at the end. Here are a few short clips:

We were there; great show! Looks like Jackie is gonna be a daddy.

Rob, you going to the TTB show(s) at the Fox this weekend?

Always a good time seeing this band; can't wait!
