I'm sure this has been posted here, but it's so chill-inducing, it's worth a look. The footage is incredible (not to mention Jack). Put the video on full screen and enjoy.

That is cool. Seen it before and it never gets old. Always curious what show it is from and if available. Good stuff

hey guys,

i had my intern put the video to the dreams solo two years back. here is the scoop:
- on the old HTW web site, this Dreams version was on it. i listened to it daily as it was hauntingly awesome
- i saw the yosemite timelapse on vimeo. i then push play on the music and matched it to the vimeo video (fyi - if you want the teal experience, listen to the solo wile watching the vimeo version of the video which is 1080 vs the 480 on youtube since we ripped it)
- Jules from the site here hooked up the music - thanks Jules!

we could do more of this type of stuff as a group. find a time lapse that you like on vimeo or youtube. take a look at the duration and see if there is an ABB solo that matches that duration. see if they synch up in terms of tempo.

Thanks Sully for the info. Great work. I've watched it numerous times the video and Jacks solo is a perfect match.

Any chance you know what show the Dreams is from. Love to track down a copy if available from traders

jack commented on this video a couple of years back. said it was from one of the first times they played it live with him in the rotation. furthermore, he did not recall it as specifically memorable, which i find fascinating. to be able to just do what jack did off the cuff is the level of genius.

thanks sully. I will have to do some searching. I wonder what Jack thinks is his highlights with the band.

Wish their would be an official release of his time. A greatest hits so to speak. Sure it will never happen, thanks for the great information

Great call, Bluessky4ever.

I was re-reading a HTN magazine article from 1999 the other day - those old issues are the best! One of hte writers mentioned how he/they just got back from recording an ABB concert. This was with jack and dickey. how about releasing that?!
