Hiya Cuz ~ Big Hug
Wish you and Dixie were gonna be at the show tonight. My soul just needs to hear someone live that was close to Gregg and Jack fit's that need perfectly and a 4 hr drive ain't bad at all when it soothes the soul.
For doug and anyone else who may go and don't know me, here's what I look like

Say Hi and we'll raise a glass in honor of Gregg

Really Good

Jack dedicated the show to Gregg and opened with the song My Old Friend.
Played a lot of stuff from his Do What's Right CD, which is one of my favorites.
Every song on that disc is good IMO. Got a Blue Sky and they also played Please Call Home, Jack said
they had never played it before and they did a wonderful rendition of it. Closed the show with Liz Reed.
Talked with Jack and the guys after the show, Jack told me to come back for his Birthday celebration
that he's having there June 14th. May just have to make that show as well.
Nice venue for live music. Let me know if ya'll can make it.

Take Care Cuz
Cool Grin Cool

Jack's cover of Please Call Home:

This is brilliant. It's very churchy and emotional, and it's better than any ABB live version of this song I've ever heard. Please Call Home was always kind of too quiet for the seven-piece ABB to really do it right in a 3,000-person theater. The energy just isn't there. But in a smaller setting for a trio, this is perfect.

In Memory of Elizabeth Reed:

Jack says he's very happy with his solo here, and that should tell you everything you want to know.

Very tasteful, as Jack always is. I would love to see Jack up here in the North East.
