For those of yall like me that have been waiting a long time for this; Jack sat in with Aquarium Rescue Unit last night in Nashville, along with Pat Bergeson.. As far as I know (someone correct me if I'm wrong), this is the first time the 2 ex-Allmans guitarist have taken the stage together.
Will share the video once I get it uploaded. Good stuff, as was the entire show....as one guy with us put it..."a freak-show, in all the good ways"
Awesome. Hope that makes the live album they are planning to release from this tour. Would LOVE to hear Jack and Jimmy play together.
Jack sat in with ARU Mk II version of the band back in 1997 or '98 when Jack and Oteil were in the ABB but before Oteil and Jimmy broke up ARU. I think it was an ARU gig at a festival in Colorado between legs of the ABB tour that summer.
Don't think any audio exists from tapers, but Sean O'Rourke (ARU drummer) had posted pictures at the now-defunct ARU web-site of the post-Bruce version of ARU that was hosted here at HTW. (The current ARU web-site only acknowledges the Bruce years and acts as if the band broke up when Bruce quit in April 1994, so you won't find anything there.)
Jack sat in with ARU in 1997 and I've never been able to find audio of the show.
I hope someone has video of last night's sit-in.
