As someone who prefers Gibson, but owns Gibson and Fender products, I think it would have been funny if a Fender rep had stepped forward with a Fender decal placed on a McCullough chain saw and announced that he was about to demo their newest product.

Being a Gibson fan myself and the proud owner of a Les Paul that was pretty funny stuff but the Fender guy was not laughing. 😛
