Thanks for Alan for taking the time to talk.

My first book, Drunk On Sunday
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1733876480
has finally been released. There's some Dead, Allmans, and Mule in it but I think it's a story anyone on this board can relate to. I hope people check it out.

Thanks! There is a story about seeing the ABB at SB XXIX after watching the Chargers get tragically destroyed. I omitted the "incident" at Jones Beach June '97. There will be room in sequel.

Way back in the day, I wrote an article for Hittin The Note on the link between the GD and ABB. You can read it here since I don't think John Lynskey or anyone has a digital archive for the old mag.

Thanks for posting the link to the interview, your book and the HTN article.

I'm guessing you've seen this article about The Allmans and the Dead https://deadessays.blogspot.com/2019/01/the-dead-and-allmans.html

Congrats on the book! That's got to feel good.

I'm a huge Packers fan, so I can relate the music and sports fandom.

Also, those new Chargers uniforms are pretty sick. Bummer that they are in LA, must have been rough watching them play to 20,000 people the past few seasons.

I have seen that essay, thanks. At least with the Pack you know what it is to win it all.

https://www.salon.com/2002/08/06/ultimate/ When I won fan of the year, I was inducted with the Packalope who was later on the Daily Show when he was outlawed from Lambeau. The move from SD makes them more irrelevant, though the city decided they wouldn't cave to Spanos and he bolted (no pun intended).

I hope people enjoy the book. Alan endorsing it makes me feel like I'm Marcus King to his Warren.

Actual LOL. They seem to have had a falling out, though.

A lot of you will love the book. Great read. The ABB at SB story was hilarious. I need to call Kirk or Bert and find out more about that party.

This I didn't know about. How can Warren have a falling out with anyone. He's dealt with Dickey and Chris Robinson. Anyway, thanks to Alan for endorsing the book (I am Alan Paul and I approve this message). Please check it out.

There was definitely a falling out with Warren and Marcus King. Marcus was the guest on Dean Delray's "Let There Be Talk" Podcast a few months back and he casually asked him about working with Warren and I can't remember the exact wording, but it was awkward and got to the point where Marcus didn't say much and Dean transitioned to the next question.

Wonder what happened???

Only Alan knows the story but it sounds like business interests no longer were concurrent. Warren > everyone else
