The opera "The Death of Klinghoffer" is being performed at the Metropolitan Opera House a few blocks down the Broadway from the Beacon. The opera is very controversial and people are lining up protesting the content.
I'm posting this to "Anything Goes" not the "Whipping Post" because the point of this post has nothing to do with the political nature of the opera.
My point is simply that NYC is one of the most exciting places on Earth. Folks who want to poke around might want to take a short stroll and check out the action.
