Don was in some of the solo bands Gary Moore put together for his tours wasnt he?

I like Ian and Deep Purple. Saw them in 1973 I think it was when Smoke on the Water was a hit. Gregg Allman was my favorite back then and the early ABB could smoke Deep Purple on the water a little bit to me but it's two different approaches for a band.
Bill Graham booked them all and in 1971 said the Allman Brothers were the best of them all.

Yes he was. Don has quite a resume. He has played and recorded with quite a few.
