I caught the Boston show Sunday night. My son an I thought they sounded excellent musically, classic Tull sound.
No Martin Barre but nice job by Florian playing guitar. Band played about 90 minutes. Ian has no voice its shot.
He plays a set list acknowledging his voice is gone. Overall good show, I would have loved voice dubs
and more of the classics. He acknowledged 4-5 former Tull band mates (34 band members) but
no love for Martin Barre. Still love that flute-guitar combo..

The Ian Anderson Band rebranded as Jethro Tull (no Martin Barre) and Ian without much voice? I’ll pass.

Didn't mean to come off so dismissive to you VTAB as it sounds like you enjoyed the musicians. I'm certain he has world class guys playing with him.

Martin Barre is scheduled to play a 250 seat local theater hear shortly.

No offense taken Hotlant - Ian has a very good band playing with him as would be expected.
I had a great evening with my kid and would see the show again if local.
