Steve was the spark plug in that band.
Too bad the vocals at the end dropped out.

I saw that line up once at the Fillmore East.
The original bill was Jethro Tull, Edgar Winters White Trash, and Tin House.
Tull cancelled and was substituted with Cactus and Pie.

Hands down what a band, what a voice, what a sound.Did some heavy partying to these guys in my youth. One of the finest live albums from that era.Think l’ll drag it out and have a listen.

"Talkin' 'bout my baby, she's your baby, she's my baby, she so fine", Great little close-out groove, bummer;
That was the best line-up, Frampton, Marriott, Ridley, Power harmonies. I'm jealous. Rock On is a special disc, One of my all time fav's. 79th And Sunset, Sour Grain, Big George, A Song For Jenny, Shine On, Etc, I love this line-up's Rockin' The Fillmore. Four Day Creep!

Natural Born Woman

The Sad Bag Of Shaky Jake

I Walk On Gilded Splinters

Alabama '69

Only saw Humble Pie once in the early 1970s. When with a friend who had Pie as his favorite band .

Later I saw Frampton a couple of times. He had a good show both times I thought.
