62 - it might be good to be younger but then I wouldn't have lived through the incredible time which was the 1960s.

So much happened in science, space travel, world affairs, sport, music, politics, fashion, cinema, art that it seems amazing looking back.

Less than 2 months away from 59-1/2...that magic age where I can attack my retirement accounts without tax penalties (TAXES, yes, tax PENALTIES, no).

And, THAT means, "pay off ALL debts"...so I can ease into retirement debt-free. (Retirement from the daily grind of the office environment, that. is...then I'll finally get to work at my CAREER goal of making music full-time!!)

I was listening to the ABB as a sophomore in High School...but, didn't even go to my first concert (much less ABB concert) until after Duane & Berry's unfortunate passings. So, never even came close to being able to see them live. My first ABB concert was '75 at UCSB with Dave Mason & Little Feat the opening acts, just after the "Win Lose Or Draw" album's release.

X2 -- if you get a chance to see the 2-part "Cronkite Remembers" from many years ago, IMO he does a better job than any of the 1960s documentaries etc -- most of Walter's recollections are of that turbulent time, and both these documentaries are really well done -- he interprets things from a personal point of view, like his family life etc
I'm 60

57. I went to my first ABB concert at MSG by myself because none of my buddies were interested in going. They were still stuck on LZ and Pink Floyd . I believe it was '72. I've probably seen The Bros about 50 times since then.

I'm tickled peach to be able to say I'm about to enter my 75th year on earth next month. Actually I will be turning 74, (born in 1941,) but the first sentence is still true.

*If* they play past midnight in Raleigh, I intend to be seeing/hearing some musicians as I welcome another year. Oteil Burbridge, Jimmy Herring, Matt Slocum, Jeff Sipe, and Col. Bruce Hampton. That's the Aquarium Rescue Unit, right? Have been a fan since last century.

A hard to believe 64 and a half. Still working and a single dad with a 17 year old daughter. Looking forward to being turned out to pasture! Veteran of two Duane shows at Stony Brook and attended the first post-Duane show at CW Post College.

35.

Turned on to the ABB and Peter Green's Mac and the Band by driving around with my Dad (born 1950) as he drove me to baseball tournaments. And that started my love affair with music, and I delved into all kinds of other stuff from that jumping point.

Chronologically almost 58

Physically around 78

Mentally around 38

So I guess it balances out.
